Some of them are “bastions” that you can survey and claim on your own. Not every hostile territory in Diablo IV will remain hostile forever. Strongholds look the most interesting of the new systems. The presentation of the Xbox Show highlighted some of the different gameplay elements: strongholds, world events, and PvP.
We’ve known since last year that Diablo IV will be an open world game, but yesterday we learned more about what players can expect to find in it.
As such, the creator of the full character is not in an unknown state for the series. However, Diablo III lets you choose your character’s gender, and Diablo Immortal lets you go ahead and customize the look. You’ll be able to choose your character’s gender and customize their appearance, which is a huge departure from the first two Diablo games.
This looks like a decent cross-section of categories from the first three games, although it’s perhaps a little disappointing that there aren’t any entirely new categories in the mix. A Blizzard representative explained that the company has now announced a full roster for the Diablo IV class: Barbarian, Druid, Necromancer, Rogue, and Sorcerer. From there, we get a glimpse of the character selection screen.

While Diablo Immortal came out a few weeks ago, old Blizzard fans know Diablo IV is the game to watch.
